Transfin Ghana Limited has developed a system that tracks the location of fertilizer consignments in real time.
- The GPS trackers typically contain information of name of distributors, geographical destination and product information.
- GPS trackers are planted into the fertilizer bag at the point of departure from Cocobod’s main warehouse
- A ratio of 500 bag of fertilizers to 1 GPS tracker is applied. In other words each truck load will have 4 randomly placed trackers.
